Wedding Cakes | The Process
Planning your wedding is a time to be remembered and creating your perfect cake is a part of that! We are specialised in making delicious wedding cakes that matches all your wishes. Are you curious about the process of ordering a wedding cake? Have a look at the steps below!
Step 1
First Contact
Ideally, we would love to hear from you six to nine months before the big day. Our wedding agenda generally fills up quickly, especially during the popular summer months, so please do not wait too long!
Step 2
Schedule A Tasting
The next step is to schedule a tasting which will take place at your house! For the tasting, you can choose 2 flavors for the cake and 4 flavors for the filling. Next to that, you can gather some inspiration for your perfect cake which we discuss during the tasting.
Step 3
The Tasting
During the tasting you will try the flavors you have chosen. We will also discuss the details of your wedding: the theme, the colors, the location, and all other important details. We will also design a cake that is perfect for you!
Step 4
Confirmation
To confirm and hold your date, we ask for a downpayment of 50% of the total sum. Three weeks prior to your wedding, we ask for the final 50% to be paid.
Step 5
The Sweetness Starts
With all the details confirmed, we can now get started on making you a beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We will deliver the wedding cake (if agreed upon) to your location and make sure it looks perfect.
Step 6
Rental Returns
After the wedding you can return the borrowed rentals to our location in Zwaanshoek. We are especially curious to hear how your big day has been!
